P/T Consumer Electronic Sales “Weekend Warrior” $16hr Our Client, an industry leader in consumer electronics, has enlisted Campaigners, a division of Advantage Sales and Marketing, LLC (ASM) to handpick a team of SALES-focused Weekend Warriors (WW) to drive real, measurable sales growth of its imaging and projector products at select retail locations. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, ambitious, committed to self and driven to succeed. This person should also have strong communication skills with the confidence to influence key decision makers at the store level. They must possess excellent organizational skills and have the ability to complete daily procedures and responsibilities without direct supervision. Retailer Location: Best Buy / 69344 Highway 21 / Covington, LA 70433 Schedule: 12:00pm - 4:00pm Saturday and Sunday Job Responsibilities / Requirements: • Sales: Enthusiastically engage, qualify and close customers on sales of clients products; Seek sales opportunities in departments throughout the store to maximize sales and sales of related attachments. • Merchandising: Ensure products are on display, functioning properly and presentable to customers. Take direction regarding tagging, rotating, and placing POS materials (provided). • Training: Responsible to train Retail Sales Associates on clients’ products and product benefits. Generate positive PR and Brand Awareness in-store. Ensure clients product is “Top of Mind” among store associates. Increase sales associate recommendation of clients’ product. • Personal Development / Training: Must be willing to commit to initial as well as ongoing monthly product training, team meetings, client trainings, etc (paid) as a requirement. . • Relationship Building: Must have the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with Campaigners management team, Retail Sales Associates and Management Team and Customers. . • Administration/Reporting: Must complete accurate and timely paperwork and reports online; call reports, recaps, itineraries, timesheets, expense reports, training, etc. Participate in weekly conference calls (paid). Must be available: Saturday and Sunday (Friday Evenings Seasonally). Hours range from 8-12 per week (4-6 hrs per shift) depending on territory (subject to increase seasonally). Behavioral Requirements Results and action oriented – ownership minded Strong self-management skills Professional demeanor and image compatible with the Client and Campaigners Acts as a strategic client advisor to store management to enhance retail relationships Independent, self-motivated, and organized, while remaining flexible and adaptable Technical Requirements Must be Internet savvy with access to computer - broadband preferred Must have a cell phone; text messaging strongly preferred Reliable transportation: i.e. personal car for transportation to stores/events /meetings General familiarity with imaging solutions and access to a digital camera are highly desirable Dress Code Requirements Name tag and branded Polo shirt provided Khaki, navy, or black solid pants (must be professional: no cargo or denim pants) Closed toed sturdy shoes (no open toed, sandals, or sneakers) Candidates must possess the following: valid driver's license with a clean driving record, automobile insurance that includes comprehension and collision coverage with candidate listed as a driver on the policy , high school diploma or G.E.D., 18 years of age, valid social security number, legal authority to work in the United States, ability to pass drug-screen and background tests and a willingness to travel (this position may require traveling to specific sites).
