9/2009: This is Winnie a very sweet friendly young cat who has come to the St. Bernard Parish Animal Shelter under unusual circumstances. An unknown woman opened the Shelter office door, threw Winnie inside and left before anyone could get any information about her or Winnie. We do not know if Winnie was her cat or a cat she found somewhere that she decided to bring to the Shelter. Winnie was wearing a green collar with bells and is clearly an owned cat. Since no one has come in to claim sweet Winnie, she is now looking for a brand new family to love. If you are interested in meeting Winnie or any of our other wonderful dogs and cats, please come by the St. Bernard Animal Shelter @ 115 W. Agriculture in Chalmette LA or call 504-278-1534.
