Dear - Sweet - Friendly That pretty much sums up what Raoul is. This sweet cat was abandoned on the street by his owners. Poor Raoul simply does not have the temperament to survive on the street. The other cats attacked him viciously and left Raoul with seriously infected wounds. Southern Animal Foundation took Raoul in and gave him the surgery he needed to save his life. At the moment Raoul is looking pretty rough around the edges because many areas of his body and face have been shaved and stitched up. His hair will soon grow in though and he will be a handsome boy. Unfortunately Raoul tested positive for FIV which is making it tough to find a home for him. There are a lot of myths about FIV and in all honesty that status should not stop people from taking the guy in. Despite all that Raoul has been through he is the SWEETEST cat you would ever care to meet. simply hold your hand out to him and Raoul will happily do all of the work as he vigoriously rubs himself against you. The only problem is that his purrs are so loud that they may shake apart the foundation of your house. If you are looking for a cat that will adore you, greet you when you come home and be your faithful and snugglie friend when you watch T.V., read a book or work at your computer please look no further. Raoul is YOUR man! He's 6 years old, solid black,. a BIG boy and he's looking for love.
