German Shepherd Dog - Large - Adult - Male - Dog - Gus
Description
Gus was found the day after Gustav running around the deserted Clayborn streets. He was emaciated when he first came home, but he has always been a sweetheart. He came home house broken, but he currently gets kenneled while we are away because of some seperation anxiety. Gus is an obedient boy who knows a range of commands. He is still a young dog, only 2-3 years. We know he was in a home at some point, but his microchip wasn't registered, so we couldn't track down his family.Gus is a huge lover of people and dogs. He has a fun personality and would be great in a variety of homes. He could do well with just one person, or a family with dogs. When he was found he tested positive for heartworms. He is being treated with monthly heartgaurd, and has been on that for almost a year now. He is up to date on his vaccinations, and has been neutered.Do you think Gus may be the dog for you? Contact Melissa at melissaloliver@hotmail.com for more information about Gus.The shelter is open to the public from 3 - 7 pm seven days a week. Dog adoption fees are $150 per dog and cats are $75 to $100 per cat. These fees help us with cost of spay / neuter, shots, microchips, HW treatment if necessary, other medical expenses and food.
