She has now been spayed. The cut on her leg has healed up beautifully and she is good to go! April was reported to us eating roadkill on a local state highway because she was starving. Then 1 day a very nice man stopped and observed her and noticed she was limping badly. A group of humans finally rescued her and then found out she had a litter of pups she was nursing. We rescued everyone and the next day they all went to be checked out. Mom did NOT have a broken leg but she had a very bad bruise and a serious laceration on her leg. April turned out to be a fantastic Mom and is very loving and caring. All of her puppies are now weaned and she is finally getting her girlish figure back.
